other projects
here are some smaller projects i've worked on over the years that i wanted to compile on this site also:
treeeeeees
rick came to ecuador in the summer of 2017 and we had this idea to make a game that would document the trip. every week, we released a new version of the game with a new "space" that was inspired by whatever had actually happened in our lives that week. also we setup the unity project in a weird way where each "space" would unintentionally get affected by every new "space" we added.
looking back on it, the project seems like a big mess but i feel very proud that we committed to such a weird concept. plus, many of the ideas scattered around still feel very fresh to me. maybe one day i'll get rick to work on treeeeeees part 2 with me, why not.

tales from off peak city - (camera)
i met cosmo d at amaze in 2018 when he was showing norwood suite and i was showing levedad, and then became friends in nyc. he was working on a new game and wanted to implement a camera picture taking system inspired by levedad, so he just hired me to implement it myself. i was a better programmer at this point so i made a nice shader for the long exposure mechanic which made it look so much better imo. you can buy the camera from a shop in the game and then find a bunch of fun filters around the world, which were also pretty fun to design.

other small gamejam + student games:
- la cumbia del monster - a clone of the C64 game ‘dancing monster’ made in a week for bennett foddy's pico-8 prototype class
- axolotl - a short student game based on axolotl by julio cortázar. developed with rahul joshi, john sampson and justin ha.
- reflective concrete - a short student game made in twine that's kind of a walking sim.
- absent-minded city-gazing - a short game made for the pippin barr ‘game idea’ jam
- open world - a small gamejam game made for a game by its cover 2017. this was the first gamejam i ever participated in and maybe the first game i ever made that i put online?
